The UA Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic provides support to individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated mental health concerns through comprehensive evaluation and therapy services, research opportunities, and consultation services.
The mission of The University of Alabama Autism Clinic follows from the mission set forth by The University of Alabama with a focus on service, teaching, and research. To this end, we seek to provide an array of mental health and family support services designed to enhance the identification and treatment of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Services include educational, diagnostic, treatment, and support programs, which are based in best practices and dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve. In addition, we seek to provide high quality training opportunities for students pursuing applied clinical training in the area of autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders and to develop and promote applied clinical research that will have a clear impact on the quality of life for children, adolescents, and families impacted by autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
While the UA Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic receives some support from the University of Alabama, we must fund raise to cover our expenses. If you are interested in giving, click the link below!
