Psychology Clinic

The Psychology Clinic is a non-profit, multi-service center supported by the Department of Psychology and The University of Alabama. It is a mental health center and training clinic for doctoral-level clinical psychology trainees. Confidential and individualized services with sensitivity to issues of diversity are provided for people of all ages, from preschool through late adulthood. We are dedicated to providing high quality and affordable psychological services to the University community, Tuscaloosa residents, and people from surrounding counties.

Hannah’s Hope

  • Provides individual, couples, and family counseling/ therapy for those coping with ASD.

The HANDS Program

  • Provides individual therapy, including ABA, in-clinic & in homes. The HANDS Program provides one-on-one and small group behavioral therapy, as well as training and consultation services.
  • Services also include teen and adult groups, a Kinect sports program, a financial assistance program, and summer camps!
  • HANDS serves individuals with Speech and Language Delays, Developmental Delays, Behavior Disorders, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Asperger’s, ADD/ADHD, and Rett Syndrome.
